Marvin is an Associate at Regenesys. He oversees the Regenesys studio. He is in charge of managing design office aspects, including maintaining and improving standards, quality control and assurance, managing project programs and risks, to ensure each project is completed in an efficient and timely manner.
He is passionate about environmental architecture and is certified in climate change and sustainable development (CCCSD). His design Ethos is to integrate environmental principles such as passive cooling, natural lighting and sustainable material selection, into the designs of visually appealing, functional, comfortable resource efficient and healthy spaces.
His 10 years’ experience in the construction sector begins with a job as a clerk of works, where he gained valuable hands-on site experience on construction methods, processes, material selection, and procurements required for successful building execution. The skills and knowledge he obtained during this period and beyond including resource management, lend well with his roles as a team leader, designer and construction manager.
He is currently leading the design team for the international brand ‘Baggi men’ in Uganda and Kenya to ensure compliance to the local legal frame works and building standards, while upholding their international standards for franchise openings in upscale shopping malls like Village mall, Acacia mall and Arena mall, in Uganda as well as Two Rivers mall in Kenya.
